Dairy Maintenance & Installations

Craig and Sheree Stokes established Dairy Maintenance & Installations in 2005 at their home in Smithton. The family friendly company has grown over time and Craig has trained up many technicians giving them the knowledge he's gained from years of experience in the dairy industry.

Craig extended the business when he moved further across the state to Launceston and recruited a team that allowed him to comfortably cover the whole state with a break down, maintenance and installation service.

After partnering up with Lely, DMI became Lely Center Tasmania and continued providing outstanding service, reliability and quality produts are essentail for all dairy farmers. Fielding Family Testimonial

Staff are hard to find. If you get a few good ones, they go and leave you, but not having to need people all the time is good. If someone can't turn up, it doesn't matter, whereas before it was a nightmare.

Share farming with a hybrid rotary and robotic system

Financially, getting through paying them off very rapidly, because they are profitable. For us the huge benefits of the robots will be once they're paid off in a couple years time, we're not paying any staff and not paying any robots off and I think once you get to that point, dairy farming can be highly profitable.
