Today, Lely presents its annual results for 2024: with a total sales of €857 million (2023: €888 million), in line with the more difficult dairy market.

Truganina, Victoria – On the 23rd of October Lely held the grand opening of its new office and warehouse. Lely invested in a new plant that is three times bigger than the previous premises to continue meeting the growing demand for milking robots in both Australia & New Zealand.

From February 12th to 14th, the Australian Dairy Conference took place at the Gold Coast Conference & Exhibition Centre in Queensland, Australia. With around 650 participants and over 60 trade sites, it was a record for the organisation.

As sand is a commonly used bedding material in barns worldwide, this is the ultimate addition to the Discovery portfolio. With the introduction of the sand flush, Lely now offers a manure solution for almost every dairy farm.

All products seamlessly connect with the company’s vision on the Farm of the Future as launched last year. The new products – a manure robot that is also applicable for barns with sand bedding, an automatic feed pusher for large-scale farms and a concept for smart monitoring of cows and barn operation – are the newest answers to the challenges that dairy farmers worldwide face. Merchtem, 29 August 2024 - Today the first Lely Orbiter in Belgium was launched at Bart Vanderstraeten and Marijke d'Hertefelt in Merchtem, Flemish Brabant. This makes them the first dairy farm outside the Netherlands to produce high-quality dairy products on the farm with the Orbiter. The Koeweidehof's fresh dairy will be marketed exclusively to the Belgian market under the ‘Oh!Lait’ label, which is also launched today.

Today Lely announced that its CFO Ronald Eikelenboom will pursue his career outside of Lely after ten years at the Dutch robotics manufacturer.
