KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The postholder will be responsible for delivery of sustainable growth within Agritech Solutions NI Ltd (Lely Center, Eglish) relating to Lely products, specifically Lely Vector, ancillaries and equipment.

The postholder will be required to negotiate with clients, book appointments, attend meetings and discuss proposals of the company’s goods and services with existing and potentially new clients with the ability to work independently whilst contributing to the Sales Team to agreed sales targets and within deadlines. The postholder will be required to travel extensively to meet the needs of the post.

Sales

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies ensuring competitive payment and pricing;
  • Day to day account management to ensure sales, sales mix and targets are met.
  • Maximise sales through effective promotion of company products and meeting customer needs;
  • Conduct outbound sales calls to cold and warm leads;
  • Maintain relationships with your own customers, whilst expanding sales to newcustomer markets;
  • Manage the customer experience from enquiry through to sale, handover and after sales, including review of orders and ensuring outstanding queries are understood and resolutions found;
  • Develop and implement as required repeatable sales models to ensure consistent success and revenue growth;
  • Contribute to the company sales team to ensure that the company sales, targets and goals are being met and exceeded;
  • Assist in the development, implementation and review company systems and processes to maximise recording of and reporting on company information to meet company requirements;
  • Production and analysis of reports to provide appropriate and timely information as required;
  • Accurately recording all customer data in Salesforce in a timely manner;
  • Attendance at marketing activities including for example exhibitions and agricultural shows to promote and maximise sales for the company.
  • Liaise with other departments in Lely Center Eglish as and when required.

Personal Specification

Essential Criteria

  • Proven Field Sales experience with a strong interest in agriculture / farming
  • Able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the ruminant industry and agricultural industry in general.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable outlook;
  • Capable of working effectively in a team and independently, managing workload and time efficiently
  • Ability to create and deliver solutions tailored to the farming community needs.
  • Full driving licence.

Desirable Criteria

  • Working knowledge of CAD and Salesforce
  • Sales experience within the animal feed industry
