Working in Business Support

I started my accountancy career at the age of 18 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2004.  I joined Lely in 2022 as Finance Manager, responsible for all aspects of finance at Lely Center Yeovil and Holsworthy. 

Sarah has over 30 years experience in a mixture of office and accounts roles. Working alongside finance manager Louisa she is often answering customer queries over the phone, checking timesheets, ensuring payments are secure, completing VAT Returns and checking bank accounts. 

Sarah enjoys working in an company that is organised and full of likeminded individuals. She had vaguely heard of the company before starting but didn't realise the variety of products they provided and this has been really interesting to learn about. She hopes to see all products in action one day!

Sophie is currently on an accounts apprentice attending yeovilo college once a week. Her uncle is a dairy farmer and has Lely Robots. 

Covering for Lauren while she is on maternity leave. I graduated Haper Adams with a BSC(Hons) in Agriculture with Animal Science. I have a range of practical experience on dairy farms and enjoys learning more every day about cows. 

I enjoy the marketing job as I get to learn about all aspects of Lely including the variety of products and services the business offers, and how the business is helping to improve farm welfare and productivity. 

Started at Lely in 2021 having previously worked in stores and production support. Previous role was at a packaging company so the dairy industry and robotics was completly new to me. It has been interesting to learn about the lely innovative equipment and the dairy industry while working in stores.

Amanda has held various positions before joining Lely, from HR, Customer Services, Sales, Finance, team management and finally in her most recent job in animal health. Amanda is so far enjoying being back in an office environment still working within the livestock industry with everyday being different. 

Having previously heard of Lely during her role in animal health, and from living next to a Lely Farm not too far from the office she jumped at the chance to work with Lely.
