The Digital Operations Center (DOC) is part of the Technical Service Support (TSS) department and is responsible for the technical operations of Lely’s farm management software Horizon and future digital services and solutions. The DOC provides first-class, third-level support with a strong customer focus. DOC is monitoring and reporting about the performance with innovative technology. Your activities 

In an organization rapidly growing and changing to an even larger international player, the role of a Continuous Improvement Specialist is challenging for sure. You are in the middle of the most important processes and distinguish yourself. Together with your colleagues you ensure the processes grow along with the development of Lely and the Digital Operations Center (DOC) in particular. 

From within the DOC Continuous Improvement team, in this role you are responsible for setting up, maintaining, implementing, and improving the processes of the Digital Operations Center, both internal processes and customer support processes. The processes used within the DOC often overlap with other teams within the Digital Farming Business Team. You work together with the colleagues within the business team to generalize the processes as much as possible to prevent rework.  

Further you: 

  • Will take the initiative to identify possible improvements within the operational teams and translate these into concrete actions to help them to work smarter and more efficiently.  
  • Facilitate brainstorm sessions, workshops, and reviews to gain, share and secure knowledge. 
  • Will occasionally travel both inside as well as outside Europe to build up a good relationship with colleagues and stakeholders abroad.

You stimulate innovation and find it important to motivate, involve and connect (with) your colleagues. We are looking for an inspirational and connecting personality. In this role you will report to the team lead Continuous Improvement. 

Wat is jouw ervaring?

As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you: 

  • Have at least a bachelor's degree and multiple years of experience with demonstrable change- or improvement projects or initiatives, including excellent stakeholder management 
  • Have excellent communication skills in English and organizational skills, including listening, presenting to a public, facilitating sessions and an open minded, pro-active attitude. 
  • Able to analyze and visualize data to use as input for improvement projects 
  • Having a Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt, knowledge of Agile processes, PRINCE2 or ITIL certifications is a plus 
  • You are currently living in the Netherlands and have a valid work permit
