For efficient grazing 

Grazeway

With the right strategy, grazing can be perfectly combined with automatic milking. The Grazeway selection box is an essential tool for this. Cows choose for themselves whether and when they want to go out to pasture. The Grazeway then determines whether or not they can, using the Tags cow-recognition system.

Cosmix

The Cosmix, in conjunction with the Astronaut and the Lely Tags cow-recognition, enhances rumen health and milk yield by providing precise concentrate feeding according to each cow’s requirements. This system ensures efficient feeding, reducing wastage and preventing mould or lumps. Horizon management system offers detailed insights into individual cow concentrate intake and milking data.

Cooling tank for Lely Astronaut

Round-the-clock safeguarding of milk quality and maximum hygiene: that is what the Cooling tank for Lely Astronaut has to offer. Cooling starts with the first drop of milk and is adjusted based on the milk volume in the tank. The tank seamlessly works in tandem with the Lely Astronaut, our automatic milking system.

Lely tags

A true insight into your cows’ health prevents diseases and loss of production. Lely tags cow-recognition measures the most vital data per cow every two hours. There are tags for various aspects, such as identification, checking whether the cow is in heat and rumination.

Luna

The Luna cow brush is designed to pamper and care for your cows. The Luna brushes the skin and stimulates blood circulation. This leads not only to a more relaxed cow but also a calmer herd. Brushing not only improves blood circulation but also cleans dust and other dirt from the skin. This reduces itchy skin. Brushing is relaxing for the cows and they will happily be brushed several times a day.

Efficient hoof care

Hoof bath for Lely Meteor

The Hoof bath for Lely Meteor offers regular care for hooves. Safe to use: with a simple push of a button, the foot bath fills up with water and a hoof care product. The cows walk through the hoof bath, thereby obtaining the efficient hoof care they need. Easy to do after milking in the milking robot or in another set spot in the barn.

The preventive action with the special developed Lely Meteor Hoof Bath Liquid for application in the hoof bath is for optimal care of the hooves. This product is free from formalin, copper sulfates, QACs and antibiotics. The system is self-cleaning, ensuring that any contamination does not affect the hoof health of the herd.

First Lely Orbiter launched in Belgium

Merchtem, 29 August 2024 - Today the first Lely Orbiter in Belgium was launched at Bart Vanderstraeten and Marijke d'Hertefelt in Merchtem, Flemish Brabant. This makes them the first dairy farm outside the Netherlands to produce high-quality dairy products on the farm with the Orbiter. The Koeweidehof's fresh dairy will be marketed exclusively to the Belgian market under the ‘Oh!Lait’ label, which is also launched today.
