Lely Exos gets an order from the management system and drives to the field, cuts the desired amount of grass, and fertilizes immediately. The machine transports the grass to the barn and distributes it in front of the cows. Subsequently, Exos gets recharged and waits for a new assignment.
Lely Exos can accurately apply liquid fertilizer to the grassland during mowing via its fertilizer nozzles. It can use both conventional liquid fertilizers and circular fertilizer generated by the Lely Sphere N-capture.
The Exos uses a double knife cutterbar to cut grass cleanly, while soft plastic flaps gently transport the grass to Exos bunker preserving its quality. Grass fall on top of the other grass in the bunker without damage, pressure or loss.
Lely Exos is developed for soft soil conditions and sensitive swards. Its low weight and low pressure tyres, enable the machine to mow from early spring to late autumn. The wheels with individual drive and steering system prevent wheelspin and friction when driving and turning.
